Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is an easy and affordable treatment for beautiful, younger-looking skin. This proven innovation in skin rejuvenation allows your own growth factors to reverse signs of aging by stimulating collagen production for plumper, smoother, firmer looking skin.
How It Works
PRP is a high concentration of of platelets surrounded in its own plasma. The internal essence of your blood contains life-giving fundamental protein growth factors. PRP utilizes a leading-edge patented technology to derive a high concentration of biological nutrient-rich cells and creating autologous platelet-rich plasma for refreshed, youthful looking skin*.
Dr. Cole uses this leading-edge collagen boosting technology in combination with Micro-Needling or Pro-Fractional Laser Resurfacing for maximum effect. Add your own platelet rich plasma to these innovative procedures here at the Cole Clinic Medi Spa.
What To Expect
The collection of the PRP usually only takes 10 minutes. The actual treatment varies per patient and depending on which procedure is being performed.
This quick treatment follows a simple, 3-step process:
Step 1: The nurse draws an amount of blood similar to what is required for a basic lab test.
Step 2: The blood is placed into a centrifuge it then spins at a very rapid rate to separate the platelets from the other components of the blood.
Step 3: PRP is then injected into the facial area with a very fine needle. The Platelet Rich plasma is activated to release at least eight essential growth factors and signaling proteins.
